Activate this option to share the current slate information (scene / slate / take etc.) via WiFi. To do so press the Share icon next to the respective take. Once you create a new take the current information will be shared automatically.

 

To date you can share slate information with the following devices:

CAP2 compatible cameras

Share the slate information with a CAP2 compatible camera via WiFi. The advantages:

• The slate information gets included in the clip metadata. Please note: the information needs to be shared before the cameras is in record mode.
• Any editing software can read out and interpret these metadata.

 

MasterLockit

Share the slate information with a MasterLockit via WiFi. The advantages:

• The slate information gets included in the track metadata of compatible audio recorders. These are currently the 6- and 7-series of Sound Devices.
• Display the slate information as a “Digital Clapper” on any smartphone or tablet. The respective device needs to be connected to the MasterLockit’s WiFi as well. Enter 10.0.0.1 as URL in your browser to access the MasterLockit web interface. Then select the clapper icon.
