Big Data, 4K, 8K, Second Screen were the important trends treated at this year’s IBC in Amsterdam. Being the easySCOTT representatives, we just had to add one more: metadata. That is why we declared the unofficial Metadata Monday at the tradeshow. Let’s see if our idea gains acceptance

Our opinion on the fair: it was a great show with many interesting inventions, experts and customers. The production companies are sure looking for solutions for the metadata workflow on set and in the post. And we can already offer that solution.

Our announced cooperation with the timecode gurus of Ambient Recording and the development of a metadata network on set, allowing for an perfect frame and timecode accuracy of metadata, got a lot of positive feedback especially by people in the audio sector. We are happy that the easySCOTT workflow also met an enthusiastic response by the respected experts from JWSound and IPS TV.
