The makers of German TV-serial “Die Rosenheim Cops” have been working with our Production Service and its reporting-workflow for the last 3 seasons. So they have been saving heaps of time in post-production for several years already.

Now they take the next step by including the Ambient Master Lockit into their system – a joint product of the timecode hardware specialists of Ambient Recording and us which has been available for several months now.

The box on top of the camera improves our well-established workflow in the most elegant way by sending clip information and technical metadata from camera (currently supported: ARRI Alexa, RED Series) directly to the script supervisor’s LockitScript App via WiFi.

Advantages: Never again out of sync with the camera, no more missed wasteclips. The script supervisor knows which camera is producing which clip at any time and is able to easily keep track even of multi-camera shootings.

But this is not only good news for script supervisors – post-production will be happy as well. The Master Lockit helps making reports and ALEs even more accurate and thus improves the timesaving even further.
