In addition to the handy input-tool for the sound report, the app stands out as remote control for the 788T by Sound Devices. It can be seen as the consistent continuation of the former CL-Wifi App. We made this function possible via Bluetooth LE: so you need an iPad generation 3 or older combined with the new Bluetooth Dongle ACN-BT – tenderly referred to as “Beetle” – attached to the 788T.
On top of this the new Tonmeister App will also serve as remote control for the MasterLockit, which is to go on sale soon as well. As soon as it is available you will be able to see all your Lockits and TinyLockits on set, you will be able to adjust it and to keep an eye on the battery.
